Thanks now ebikers are entitled to a lane because they will be paying for it.
Oh shit. I don't ride an e-bike, but I'm totally vulnerable to the free IPA's in the parking lot thing.Instead of the 21st Jump street setup where they look for the young scrawny cops they'll look for the older chubby ones with beards.
"Tim, we need you to go undercover to bust illegal E-bikes. We got you this XXL flannel to wear. Keep this 6-pack of IPA with you to handout after the ride to add drinking on state property charges."
Nah..better individual odds when the group scatters. Boost mode....seeyaThis is the end of group rides.
If it weren’t for my MTB crashes we’d never meet our deductible.Under the new regs, if you crash your e-bike in the woods (or anywhere), can your health insurance deny any claims?
no, it's a 1966 motorcycle plate that's all that's left of my old motorcycle, now it's a mudflapI've noticed in a few pictures your bike has a plate on it. Do you have it registered and insured as a motorcycle?
Do we get to fight these in traffic court? Would the cop have to attend? @CarsonSo the fine for getting caught is $50, but insurance will cost $300 or more per year. I like those odds

That law specifically says "public Highway" so maybe there a technicality to get out of it since we would be on trails or parking lots.
