Oh shit. I don't ride an e-bike, but I'm totally vulnerable to the free IPA's in the parking lot thing.

That law specifically says "public Highway" so maybe there a technicality to get out of it since we would be on trails or parking lots.

I agree. But you don't need insurance in NJ to operate a vehicle on private property. Or a driver's license. You think all the guys at Shammy Shine are licensed? They aren't and they don't need to be.

I mean can't you walk it home or "rack" it home? The law prohibits operation. If I walk, pedal (non assisted), or rack it and transport, isn't that as good as towing it?

This is so stupid.
