Just tempo? When I run, I am in threshold for 20+ minutes straight.

tempo +, there is plenty of time spent at threshold power, but unless the road has no turns its hard to stay there, and the average usually ends up being a high tempo effort. . . .

most cyclists also measure zones by power, i would expect runners need to use hr zones, which IME tend to run differently.

You can use your ebike to get better tempo rides by not using the motor. Then when your "training" portion is done use the motor and actually start to enjoy your time riding.

I have not done a trail run at the sourlands since the pandemic started. Have the hordes of hikers dissipated yet?
Yes. Quiet during the week. The new parking lot is impressive tho

You can scramble the Hunterdon County trail as well. Which is on the same road as hillbilly hall... not sure the name.

But Princeton has one if the best routes ive been able to put together. You probably ridden by the parking lot a million time and never realized it.

The Witherspoon Woods trail (sign blends in very well). If you want added miles you can cross over at Stuart Day School to Woodfield Reserve for some more scrambling and hill. You can probably do a solid 6-7miles.
