Folding e-bikes are less about weight and more about storage space requirements. I know of a few full-time RVers who have them because they can get stuffed into small cargo areas.

I agree 100%. I think to many people they chose their vehicles based on the image they want to present. Just last week I was driving behind a 4x4 that was lifted, had Mickey Thompsons, rock sliders, and other off-road mods and the driver swerved to avoid a pothole cover.

i always get a good laugh out of the geniuses that drive any truck/suv and swerve around manholes and potholes, its not like your gonna hurt your car over most of them (i understand there are exceptions but they are pretty rare)

Whatever jeep did to make everyone need to make jeep their persona was genious. I built my XJ and got over it because it's NJ not wyoming, but also gas prices. I guess everyone just accepted the gas prices and instead of buying something reasonable just took it as a chance to have an identity.

I gues you can't really reason with someone rolling 38" MTRs wahwahwahwahwahing down the parkway with 37 identity affirming ducks on the dash.

Back to fat tire ebikes, there is another thing unreasonable. Hey i want a folding bike but i need it to be 78lbs, said nobody reasonable.
I saw 2 lifted jeeps with the ducks on the dash in SJ this past weekend can you you explain the reason for the ducks? TIA

BTW, I'm not busting on Jeeps or their owners. The 4x4 I was behind wasn't a Jeep but the ultimate poser vehicle. I'll let you figure what it could be.

Jeep duck thing:

My sister does this. She'll literally buy mini ducks and carry some with her and if she and my nephew see a "cool" Jeep, they'll put a duck on the windshield. They also get excited when they've been "ducked."

And no. I don't understand.

I'll have to ask my niece if she has a duck in her Wrangler.
