Figured I'd start by posting my Surly ICT Custom build with I9 hubs on Rolling Darryl Rims and 45 NRTH non-studded Dillinger 5's. Bike is an absolute blast, I took it to Lewis Morris this weekend. The trails are almost too smooth for this beast.

Somewhat old news, my Beargrease. Only mods are ergo grips, alu bars replacing carbon bars, orange seal tubeless setup. And a new D4 after a stick poked a whole in the first one. psssss. The orange seal held air for another 4 hours. As long as I left the stick in place.

I've had that happen 3 times, all on 45Nrth tires. The last time it happened, I found a 3" long piece of stick inside the tire. Patched all of them from the inside and still holding. Never tried the plugs, but I've wondered whether they would work given the super flimsy carcass of some fatbike tires.

I know how that goes, not sure what punctured the tire, but I put that stink in the hole and it held for a few miles to get back to the lot. Unreal!

yes and yes

it is a carbon comp, they used to spec 4.6 GC but theyve changed them to 4.0 for whatever reason (probably for weight) and kept the same 90mm rims. they come with the 4.0 now which is what i got

widest tires on these rims? whatever you want. widest tires in this frame? not sure since i havent changed anything yet. perhaps @jimvreeland can answer that since iirc its the same frame and i know hes tried lots of tires

i could probably fit that ginormous XXL in front but idunno about the back
