Boatventure.
Started the morning off swapping a new rudder system onto my Kayak. I completely destroyed the old one in Maine. Tom at TopKayer was super helpful in getting me the parts needed to update my Vintage Necky.
20+ year old Necky Rudder.
Then I stole what is now my kid's Jetta to go test it out. I'm leading an event for our club next week so I wanted to make sure the route is clear.
1916 Shark Attack location.
Remnants of the dock the victims were swimming off of.
Got caught in a storm on the way back.
Had to beach after a light rain turned to a wicked Thunderstorm. Tide went out pretty fast so I had to sludge through some mud to get back into the water.
Felt good to be back Boatventuring.

JSSKA Shark Paddle. Fun times hosting my first event for the club. No one died and I'm mostly sure everyone had a good time. We did an A and B group with 2 different launch spots so folks could opt for a shorter day. The A group only had 3 of us and we stopped on the way back to go swimming...
