Hippo Cross is Saturday. "The race named after beer." The next day will be the Halter's Beginner Cross Clinic. The clinic named after a bike shop? I doubt that slogan is going to excite too many people.
Nonetheless, I will be be there providing instruction along with excessive hand gestures in order to show everyone how you can jump on and off you moving bike without destroying your most intimate of areas. The best part? It is FREE.
Jed Kornbluh of Somerville Sports and the Philadelphia Cyclocross School will be joining me along with some MTBNJ personalities; @Robin , @ChrisG, and @ArmyOfNone. We'll spend a few hours going over all the skills specific to cyclocross. Stuff like, dismounting and mounting your bike, carrying or running with your bike, cornering on grass with those skinny tires, and a few other thing commonly found at CX races. Providing instruction, drills, and feedback as you practice.
If you are curious about cross, know you have plenty of room for improvement, or just want a free lunch, come join us in Montgomery, NJ on Sunday. It is just a minute from Halter's Cycles.
