Hartshorne/Huber Conditions

Maybe. I have a black/red YT and most certainly looked way more gassed than I should have. Were you riding solo? I passed 4 riders who where on their own. One was walking at the top of the stepped climb out of the Buttermilk Lot. Another was at the intersection of Grand Tour and Cuestra Ridge on a fat bike with no helmet on. The third was on a turquoise Yeti. I can;t recall much about the 4th.

Riding solo. Old guy on a rigid Ti plus bike. Not me walking (I'm old, but not THAT old).

Haha. I have screwed up that climb. The worst thing is when another bike comes along....

I don't think we crossed paths. What did you think of the conditions? I thought it was pretty good overall.

Good enough to blow off work this afternoon!

Hartshorne was 98% in great shape today. Just the few low lying suspect spots that had short stretches of some mud. A few trees down as well
That's pretty amazing, we got lots of rain. I wonder if the trees are getting thirstly? I've seen some buds on trees.

Yeah I wasn't sure what to expect. We didn't want to cause any damage of course but that really wasn't an issue. Huber woods was actually 100% fine with no mud at all

Went this morning and did the whole shabang. I got there at 7:30 and everything as frozen and good. The low lying areas were a touch moist, but not bad because it was frozen. The crossover train between Hartshorne and Huber was a little of a mushy mess. I would say that when it thaws, it is going to be a little wet, but everything there should be good in a day or two at any time of the day, depending on what happens with the incoming storm.

3 / 4 this morning. Surprisingly good. As was mentioned, some sloppy areas but of little concern.

I rode Hartshorne after work today and it was good. Trails are mostly dry or tacky with a couple very small soft spots. 100% rideable except for a few trees that came down recently. Solid 3 out of 4. The forecast looks good so go get it.

Rode Huber and Hartshorne this afternoon and it was totally dry. Park system has cleared some of the trees. Just a couple still need clearing
