Just signed up.....

Looks like a fun time; now the question is what bike to take on the ride. SuperX or SuperSix. Either way it will start with Super and either way it will be tubeless. Leaning towards the Six unless we get rain and I call an audible.

even though i said i wasnt, i think i will. seems like a fun day. and i want free stuff.
 
yah i think even if everyone flats it should be fun =]

just wish ivy didn't jinx us with the mention of the R word heheh *knocks on wood/head*
 
Its a party now. I can't wait to see Lou's face on the second dirt section, which is a downhill and probably the roughest of the whole day followed by a steep dirt climb a mile later. What a fun time!

I just wanted to ensure that we got the R word out of the way. I would rather here it now then in the forecast for the event.

Any idea what a comfortable pace for this ride is? Not a murderous I am going to rip you levels off pace but something a little bit more strenuous then casual.

Id say 5hrs in the saddle for this ride

Here is my plan:

Line up with the fast group and let them all race away up rocktown. Drop back, mess with martin, drop back further and push dustin and then drop back further and find you. Regroup and stay with you guys until Barry Rd and watch the carnage up that steep dirt climb.

Downside of doing this is that I will end up riding the last 60 mile by myself if I don't stick with yous
 
kevin you should start 1 hr late and see how many people from the forum you can catch up to =P

i think 5 hours with no issues is a good time to aim for...

that's a 15.2 average... obviously the climbs will hurt but you can up the average on the downhill... unless its dirt/gravel on both sides then it'll be slow =\

This looks cool Ill probably do it. Only have 22mm tubulars should be fun. Who will let me sleep over the night before?
