hey everyone. just want to say hello and introduce myself

I live in North Jerz. been riding a little over a year now and absolutely love it. Sometimes when I finish a ride I wish I could keep going. I usually ride Ramapo S.F.'s cannonball, or yellow trail (I try at least) and all around the lake etc...for about a 2 hour click. Also go to Saddle River park when time is short (props to whoever works on the trails back there; it is turning into something special). My skills are developing but there is so much more to learn.

I am looking to get out and explore all these cool parks I am looking at, ride with others, learn, share what I have learned, what little that is right now, and mostly have fun . It would be cool to get on a group ride and see how its really done.

Also like to watch DH racing and other events. anyone going up to Wyndham?

Welcome to our little world of cycling, lots of good info and reading for you here when your not riding. I used to go Mount Snow but haven't been to Wyndham yet. Happy trails.
 
Welcome. Allamuchy, Mahlon and if you're feeling brave Jungle Habitat all have great stuff up here in NNJ. You can always post in the Rides, Races, and Events section if you've got a time and a date planned.
Don't be disappointed if no takers though, I get that a lot.😱

I ride Cannonball often. Start from soccer fields to the ruins and back. What times do you ride? I am either early morning or after dinner, solo (half the time) or with 4 other guys. Welcome.

Check out the JORBA group rides. They are well organized by great people. You might even get beer or food afterwards.

Wow. I've heard mt. snow can be hardest on the east coast. UCI WORLD CUP DH is gonna be at wyndham this weekend. Wanna go but gotta help the sis paint. Hopefully see you on the trail sometime

I actually do a lot of work near those. Allamuchy looks like it would be a good challenge

Does that ride start at the bottom off that dead end? That's a cool ride but i end up walking here and there on the way up. Gotta work on the up hill skills. The way back down makes it all worth it. I ride mostly afternoons/evenings. weekends whenever
would like to join you guys when you go out.

Thanks for the tip on saddle river park. I'm up that way a lot and never knew about it. Might make a nice addition on one of my park to park mish mosh rides.
