Highbridge Injury

No cost to patients. Since it's part of NJ State Police - I wonder if it's primarily used for state highway accidents?

Northstar is the bird in the picture above. They did a commercial/industrial accident in Branchburg a few years back. The owner of the company was against them being stationed at Somerset airport. They were on site in 5 minutes.

I've seen them land on 287 while I sat in traffic for an hour. He better have survived!

They were put on alert when one of my teammates didn't make the turn at the bridge on the bottom of Rockaway Rd.
He was on a bike. Ended up in the water

So can we say that exorbitant healthcare billing was the cause of increasing injury lawsuits?
So when I broke my ankle in January at the Sky Zone.... Week later someone from skyzone risk management department called me asked me how I was doing, all about what happened... Asked me for my email so she could stay in touch.... So of course I'm like.. Oh they are expecting me to sue them..... But in the end it cost me about $1000 out of pocket... It wasn't their fault I broke my ankle.... The thought of suing them didn't really occur to me.... But if I had to pay the nearly $100,000 in medical bills I racked up.... Well who knows... Quite different situation

My brother in law was one of the troopers in the chopper rescuing the fire fighters in Passaic River … I asked him if they got billed for the helicopter ride. His response “when I flew Christie around, did he get billed?”

It's always shocking to see the various charges for an ER visit. Curious about mine from 4 weeks ago after my bike crash. I like how they charge you a hundred clams for a few tylenol.

What crash?!

And will you be ready for our MTB race?

I'm finding that more incidents happen on the flow trails vs. the non-groomed trails because the speeds, and therefore consequences, are much higher. The non-technical nature of the trail creates a false sense of security, especially for newer riders. I busted my ass on a relatively tame, but fast, flow trail.
Same concept in skiing. Groomed blue runs often do the serious damage. They feel safe, so speeds get very high...with the trees just sitting there waiting to catch you.
