I’d move the doorbell to the other side so it can be a little higher. I think the camera doorbells have more like a fisheye lens so it doesn’t need to be above the area.I have a few questions.
White dot represent where I want to put a floodlight camera with 360 rotation.
Blue dot is where my current doorbell is waist high. Not ideal....
Pink dot is where I thought I would put another camera or any place to the left.
Flood light is below eye level when standing on the steps.
My thoughts are front of house requires 2 cameras.
also plan is Eufy set up with home base. Solar power and hard wire options.

Any recommendations appreciated.
Do they offer a wall light option? Might be easier to just replace the existing light next to the door if the make something compatible.I have a few questions.

2 options . more warehouse then a home.Do they offer a wall light option? Might be easier to just replace the existing light next to the door if the make something compatible.
Left one doesn’t look so bad, but might give off a bit too much light. Doorbell on the other side as Ian suggested might be better. Do you have access for wiring?2 options . more warehouse then a home. View attachment 260375

This whole decision making is giving me a headache. Still haven't bought anything yet. I have 2 flood lights with 360 camera and night vision that I will limit to 180. (Waist of money, I know) in my cart and thinking a battery powered doorbell double sided taped to the front door.Corner is better for a 360 camera
If they are IR, will need to be close to the front edge.
Need to be out of reach
Already have a motion sense light at the white dot.
- Move the pink dot up under the bay window.
- Put a blink/whatever doorbell at blue dot.
- White dot - Do you have a light fixture there now? If so, just swap for motion/360 camera and see how you like it. If not, consider a different location.
Will remember next time I’m riding byThey will be constantly recording
Ordered front and rear flood lights. With a 16tb storage. They will be constantly recording
