Nope - those making more than $290K get burned - your "stack" is a bell curve!
No reason they have to be unavailable to all more or less.
IRA limits should be the same as 401K or allow personal 401k as opposed to things like Solo 401k or Simple IRA.
it is meant to be a benefit for businesses.
businesses do not pay payroll tax on retirement contributions is one reason.
although small companies get hit with the plan fees that probably nullify the savings.
the other kicker is vesting - it helps retain employees.

There's a few low cost 401k providers now for small businesses.

Business isn't charity - it's about being competitive and attracting and keeping the best talent. Employees have the choice to work where they get the best salary/benefits/etc.

False business is about making money. Anyway the system is broken when child labor is looked at as a solution. If employees want the most money they would organize but money is spent from the beginning to influence people to think otherwise. They have made it taboo to discuss salaries and other dumb shit that only benefits business.
What's the point of developing an economy if you don't work any less? I don't physically have to work, it took me 3 weeks to automat my job now all I do is attend meetings and hang out for 40 hours a week it's dumb. A business's goal is to make as much as it can our goal should be to work the least amount possible.
My next job is going to be my first step in staging 3 full time remote jobs. If I can set expectations and behaviors off the bat I am sure I can succeed and retire very quickly.
I watched a lot of sitcoms growing up, and this never works out, even with only two girls. Good luck though!

First job is my bread winner the other two will be data entry jobs. So long as I can get python and w.e. supporting libraries I'm set.
F it I'll use pyautogui so I don't have to worry about mouse movement if they track that and do the shittiest automation ever seen
I can't imagine working for a company that would do this.

I once was called out about talking about unions but I was advocating for employee ownership when our stock crashed from 30 to 11 back when amazon was eating us alive. The system works better when we all benefit from it for the amount we contribute. The role of a CEO is outdated and only serves the purpose of taking blame for failure.
