Hey gang, jeez, lol finally verified!! I'm up in jefferson township about 5 minutes from Mahlon Dickerson so thats my usual stomping grounds. I ride a 2009 trek 4300 in matte orange i bought from Marty's. LOVVEE that shop!! Hope to see you all around!!

Welcome.

And yes, you will see me at MDR. 🙂 I'm the guy on a silver 29er Rockhopper, also from Marty's. Took it there 6:00AM this morning for the first time. Sweet ride - except for getting lost AGAIN.

Thanks for the welcome! Lol congrats and good luck with the rock hopper! How'd ya get lost, which way did you go? Some trails are pretty dang confusing.

never been there but would love to check it out if your ever putting a ride together, bergen county here so im always in places like ringwood or ramapo

Any developments?

I'm new to the area, too. First time on mtbnj. I'm also looking forward to riding Ringwood. I was wondering if the guide thing ever developed? If so, I would to get involved in a group ride...since I've heard multiple times that it is easy to get lost!

We'll soon revive the Ringwood Lot C, Sunday 8am No-Drop Beginner/Intermediate with lazy Experts on the side rides...

I'll keep y'all posted.

cant wait for that, i ride ringwood all the time, and have gotten seriously lost twice, i even ended up in sloadsburg ny 15 out from where i was supposed to be,i really need to be out there with an experienced rider so i can have more fun and less wondering where the hell i am

Great...a sunday morning group ride would be wonderful. Nothing worse than getting lost and frustrated on a new trail. On the other hand, I'm thinking of heading to Ringwood tmrw (with my girlfriend) for the first time. Although I don't know the trail, the weather is just too darn nice! Anybody interested in joining 2 SSers? Times are flexible.

Everyone, I would be happy to lead a intermediate ride this weekend at Ringwood if my plans allow me to get out. Probably shoot for Sunday morning around 8am. I will post a separate ride thread if I can.

ill be down the shore this weekend but keep me posted on your sunday morning ringwood rides, thanks
