internal cables hitting inside of frame

On my ever going battle of a silent bike, any ideas on silencing internally routed cables short of "route them outside" and "get a new frame"?

...And no, I'm not filling my frame with expanding foam

Mmm, Yeti.

Expanding foam. If that doesn't work, light on fire and the cable housing will fuse to the frame making it noise free.

Was that yeti specific?
I briefly watched it this morning and since my bike is not internally routed, I wasn't paying too much attention lol

Demo the slash and buy it for pennies to the dollar of what you paid? Deal!

Where is the noise coming from? Top tube, down tube? Seat tube? Bolt left in frame....

Part of the install kit for Shimano's di2 is a bunch of zip ties, you just put zip ties on the cable but don't cut the ends off and stick them in the frame. The extra length of the zip tie keeps the cable in place

best idea yet..ill give it a shot and report back on my next ride!

I have what you need.

Correct answer is foam tubing. They come stock on almost any bike with internal cables that run full housing. I have them in both 4 and 5mm inner diameters.

ive used nitrile rubber foam insulation for mechanical and hydro lines through frames. i think Isolfex is the maker, but i may be wrong on that. its light, its cheap, it worked every time for me. maybe worth a try.
