Hi forum! I'm back in the saddle after ~16 years of absence. Grew up racing XC in Sweden. Just moved Maplewood from Brooklyn and looking for people to ride with! Picked up a trail bike the other day and can't wait hit the NJ trails

Welcome @Anders! There are a few Essex County riders, but as you probably have already figured out, all the parks are #illegalshreds so they mostly keep quiet about it.
But I hear the riding is good in South Mountain, Hilltop, and Mills.

Welcome to the Rock Garden state. The first trail maintenance of the season for Chimney Rock is this Saturday 9am at the Newman's Lane parking lot. Great place to meet MTBNJ folk. Keep up with the posts in the Ride, Race forum for the week's events.
