It caught my attention only because " Strava demands Garmin stop selling devices" - yeah right LOL.
I didnt read into too much detail but this seems kinda weird for stuff thats been around a while, and Im not sure too many people care about Garmin vs Strava heatmaps but what do I know.

Garmin is such a bigger company. Strava will wasting a lot of money with this suit. Already this year I cancelled my premium subscription. Just trying to figure out which app I should go too.I guess Strava legal team got bored and needed to generate some news...

The irony of this lawsuit when Strava literally built their heat maps upon the backs of every Rider sporting some kind of Garmin device that they opted to auto sync their data to Strava is comical. Way to bite the proverbial hand that feeds you.
Garmin should counter sue, disable all data sharing with strava and demand They redact all previous shared GPS data from their global heat maps. Theyll be left with nothing but a bunch of noodly, static filled iPhone maps and a bunch of wonky outdated leaderboards.

Not sure... I don't seem to get as many emails as I used to... which just reminded me to check my settings... and decided to turn off pretty much all email notification.
I'm currently using a Wahoo Bolt, but I've not been very happy with it. It seems to have a hell of a time syncing and staying synced to my HRM. And I would like a unit that is better for loading routes to follow and has a better map screen (the older Bolt truly blows in this feature).

It also wasn't that long ago when Strava strongarmed Trailforks and told them they could not longer use Strava ride data when users had linked the two together. Strava again clamed that TF had no right to use Strava data to construct its own ride logging and mapping. Again this was rather ironic since a non-trivial amount of strava data was again from users having thier garmin or other GPS data share to strava.

I use ride with GPS when I do the rides off bike reg. Does anyone use ride GPS on an everyday basis?
