JORBA Project?

Was googling some open spaces near by and came across this document from Morris County Parks, it's a little dated (2014), but it mentions a project that would be very close to home (Montville/Kinnelon).. wondering if anyone is really, actively looking at this....

"Executive Director Helmer pointed out that Manager Felter is working with JORBA and they have been looking to do a project at the old Snow Bowl ski trail area at Mahlon Dickerson Reservation and also begin developing a plan for the Waughaw Mountain Greenway which would be a good facility for off road bicycling because there is no conflict at this point in time with other trail users. Commissioner Seabury pointed out that there are trails already there but a few need some drainage, there is a little bit of land left to purchase, and we should start planning for it. JORBA can apply for NJ Trail Grants to aid in planning and construction of a parking to access the trail. Commissioner Seabury feels that if this project happens it will be the best Mountain Biking Trail in North Jersey. This could also take pressure off of the Tourne County Park, and Pyramid Mountain."

I heard this rumor. I will promise to be a BIG part of this if it happens. It's 5 minutes by bike from my door.

Yes, that was my thought too... I'd love to build trails up there... I'm more like 15 minutes by bike (Towaco ...other side of the tracks)...
