Ive been checking out the site for a little while and figure I'd take some time to intro myself today, since I'm rained in once again. there is a pretty impressive wealth of knowledge on this site.
as for me, I got on the saddle late last summer and the addiction is growing. I have been (attempting) riding the southern end of the canonball trail and the lake area at ramapo. only to learn I need a better bike, have much more to learn technically, or both. I also ride the back trails of saddle river when time is short and did some riding on the game lands near Clarion,Pa while working out that way over the Summer.
anyway short story long, I am looking to learn, grow in the sport and meet some fellow riders. are there any beginner rides in northern NJ? Allaire is just to far to make it to on a weekday. (forgive me if already asked)

welcome aboard yes there are all types of rides in your neck of the woods check out the rides section here.

I think there was a ride at Lewis Morris this morning and of course if you post up there are people that won't mind showing you around the different parks in the area..

Hey man welcone to the forums !! I started this summer and have been progressing very well . Ramapo and RW def are not easy to ride but are fun and def a good challenge .. You could try out Lewis Morris and High Mountain Preserve by William Paterson University. Lemme know if you wanna ride , I take my time and ride what I can or walk what I need to .
