Kittatinny Valley State Park Conditions

The X on the right in the map. It is the trail that comes up from the loop trail. Thought I sent this the other day. Forgot to hit reply.

Couple down trees.

Unrideable. Even the rail trail is iffy and can be rutted. Walking on the trails was just as bad

I can probably get those tomorrow since I’ll be in newton. Looks like I can drive within a few hundred feet of all.
I didn't mark them, but there are 2 more going up the singletrack to the needle. one is about 20 yards up from the first one, the next one just a little further up.

If anyone is up here looking to do some TM, there has been a go around next to a tree/root created on the singletrack next to the lake up to the tower. It’s not sustainable and the trees root system will likely be damaged over time. Just stick with the uphill slightly techy root feature that has been there for years and maybe improve that. I’m all for accessibility, but exposing the roots of a tree on both uphill and downhill sides is a no no.
So yeah, if someone can close it up, that’d be great.

Paulinskill rail trail between Warbasse Jct and paulinskill lake has a few downed trees. Mainly leaners now. Mostly passable.
