Lamps, Table, Wall Clock...

Thanks gentlemen!

@fidodie If I didn't have a door in the basement that I wanted to get rid of, I'd take you up on it!

@rick81721 That stain was deep. It was the reason I had to sand the table for as long as I did. It ended up lightening up WAY lighter than the rest of the table, and then I had to try and get everything else as light as I could. It was still lighter when I went to stain it, but at that point I knew I couldn't do anything else. It stained completely even. So go figure.

@rick81721, that's pretty much what you have to do unless you caught it quickly. Most flooring isn't thick enough to get rid of a set stain by sanding (or you'd have a huge divot).

We had a chronic pee-er growing up, and we wound up having to pull up the floor (I think it was 3/8 or 1/2" board? Was a long time ago). Some particularly bad spots went straight to the subfloor.

Thanks that's what I thought. I worked on it for awhile. Also it's a very light color so stain wouldn't work, unless we redid all the flooring (no thanks). How big a deal is it replacing a few boards?

I imagine it wouldn't have been bad, had we just had a few spots, since it was straight planks with no tongue and groove.

My experience with tongue and groove wasn't as easy (though I also only did it once).
