But I heard this place has all the good stuff.
Hi everybody. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Goce and I recently got into biking a few years ago and it's been slowly taking over my life. I would like to eventually get into cx racing and meet some of the local hooligans. Currently I ride a 2014 trek crossrip elite as pictured below

Humble beginnings came on a second hand 2008 trek 7.6 fx that I thought was going to be amazing and I would be able to modify as my skills grew but needless to say I was wrong about that. It's currently on loan to my cousin who moved to Maryland

I finally created an account because there is another bike I'm looking to get as a commuter. I've been super paranoid about leaving the crossrip locked up at school since its the most expensive bike I've ever purchased. I couldn't believe how big, and expensive, biking has gotten.
I came from nothing but Kmart bikes since I was a kid. When has prices spiked during the recession and paychecks were slimmer than the Olsen twins during their peak of drug abuse I decided to buy my first bike in 10 years from sports authority. Worst. Decision. Ever. I hated that hunk of crap that I paid good money for but hell, it was helping me lose weight(if my user name didn't tip you off,I'm a heavy set guy that looks like a bear riding a bike).
Long story short, bike sat for a while after and when I wanted to get back on the saddle I decided to get something nicer. Not knowing what I wanted I got the fx thinking I got a great deal on it(turns out I over paid but the lbs always took care of me with a few issues I had a few months later). Now I'm here. Hope to see you on some of the trails and maybe next season at the races!
