Kills the ride or the rider ?I stopped wearing a hart rate monitor, every time I would climb it would flash "CALL 911!!!".... kinda kills the ride🙁
Weird , I can't breath when I have one one . Freaks me out ...thought I was the only one . I can't even wear one on my treadmill at home . It's odd . I always though it was because I got caught in a crawl space under a house for a few hours and I almost went out of my mind .I stopped wearing my HRM a few years back. Believe it or not, it makes me claustrophobic. I can't really explain it. Something about having that thing around my chest causes imaginary walls to close in on me...
Anyway, when I was racing and training a lot harder than I do these days, I'd average 175-185 in a race and peak at 200-210.
