Our first trail maintenance session of the year is in the books. We brushogged and trimmed the western section of the park. Thanks to Mick, Tom, Ray, Chris and Rudy. Rudy was an absolute beast and ran the brush hog for over 5 miles! See you next month.

The trimming continues at MCP. We had the brush hog out and also trimmed the face slappers on Lower Blue and the Grail trail. Thanks to @TAS , Rudy and @JennyRydes .

Saturday 6/7/25 Al, Mick and Rudy did an off schedule TM on Red trail between Volley Ball area and West picnic.
Red was brush hog double sided cut.
Line of sight lines near the old farmhouse were trimmed back and opened up for safety.

Crossover trails under power lines were also trimmed.
Al, Rudy and Mick got done just before the rains really started pouring.

Yesterday Rudy and I worked on trimming the end of the Upper Blue trail from the power lines. We will continue working on the rest of the Upper Blue trail next Saturday 6/21. We need volunteers. Please let us know if you can help out. 🤘

Hey, all. Saturday we will be working on the upper Blue trail. So we are going to meet at the Caspersen Rowing center at 9:00 am and work until noonish. Please let me know if you can give us a hand. Bring water and gloves. We'll supply the rest. It's going to be a beautiful morning to be out on the trails. See you then!

Today we had 7 volunteers working on the upper blue trail. We trimmed the overgrown trail, removed lots of branches and a couple fallen trees. Go get it!

Bridge near Conover road is still out but this section is ready to ride once again!
You just have to dismount and walk on the stepping stones.
What a lovely morning and a great crew!
