I'm a lurker here and don't post much, but here I go:
Ventured out to Minnewaska SPP this weekend with my wife and some friends. The weather was outstanding. I haven't ridden my mountain bike in quite some time, so it was a gem of a day to get back in the saddle. I've never ridden up here before and, I must say, it was pretty amazing. The scenery is gorgeous, trails were great, and the ride itself was a lot of fun. We did an easy 11 mile loop. I rode my old Mongoose ALD bike which did the job, but it makes me wish I had something with full suspension to absorb more of the bumps. I was pretty sore at the end of the day. I may be in the market for a good used bike, if anyone is selling. I'm 6', 200 lbs, athletic build.
