Alive now. Sorry not a drinker, but I like beer. I thought it was one free glass after the ride, then I found out it's one free beer glass and unlimited refills.
Recap on today.
Up early but to the event later than expected. Needed some last minute bike bits at the local LBS and info on shuttles for the next day to porcupine. Got to the event, grabbed a demo (I got a carbon bronson full i9 wheel set from the cool guys at i9) and did a tiny lap to see the fit and feel on the on sight trail network. After we got all set up we hopped on a shuttle up to ride hyamasa and captain Ahab uper and lower.
Unfortunatly one of us bonked, we had two otb on a decent, and you know those vids of riding in moab and your like "shit don't fall of the cliff" I fell, then almost off the cliff. Missed our turn for the rest of lower captain Ahab so ended up riding the decent on hyamasa that we had to climb to the top. Made it back just in time for the last shuttle then I had a beer or four. Was also ibis bikes 35th anni. So we had some free cake on ibis 🙂
