More natural tick repellent

A friend recommended Cedarcide to me earlier this year. I have a bunch of sawyer I'm still working through before I need to purchase more insect repellent but I'm probably going to give it a try eventually. Figured it was worth sharing Cedarcide.

A friend recommended Cedarcide to me earlier this year. I have a bunch of sawyer I'm still working through before I need to purchase more insect repellent but I'm probably going to give it a try eventually. Figured it was worth sharing Cedarcide.

I tried some on my ride today, didn't pick up any ticks (that I know of...) so that's a plus. It applies a bit oily and has a heavy cedar scent (duh) but both fade quickly. After sweating bullets for 2 hrs I could still smell it on me.

I also picked up a picaridin based spray to try as well. Couldn't get just one bottle of Natrapel so I went with a different brand. Will try that one next ride.
