Mosquito combat

The wife is itching to get one, but I am having second thoughts since I spoke to my neighbor about it...he had a bat house and bats moved to his attic, same thing with the house 200 yds up the road where he lived before...looks like Ringwood bats are rather finicky!
Sounds like you may need more than one if your bat density Is that thick, they do tend to stay in packs...and/or firm up your access points for attic.

Well, that was my neighbor. I actually don't have an attic so I should be safe. I don't think I've ever seen a bat around my house either, I was kind of surprised when I heard the story. It may have been a few years back.

Easy...can of gas and a match !
I doubt the insurance company would go along with me trying to explain that...

I have a rather large umbrella policy and carry liability insurance, let me know when I can come by. I've considered slipping on ice going out to the car to pay for a new bike lol.

I hired and fired the local sprayer. Just too much money. They only spray shrubs and shady areas. If it is a cloudy day they miss all the hot spots where the bugs usually hide but charge me the same.

I bought a kit from mosquito sniper and have been very happy with it. I can basically nuke my property for just a couple bucks.

I remember family drives in the 60s-70s. Windshield covered with bugs. Now...nothing, not a gnat. Save your money trying to kill bugs. Our environment, or what we did to it, is doing the job for you for free.

your just driving in the wrong places, my truck windshield gets cleaned weekly when im commuting in the spring/summer because of all the bugs i pick up driving up and down the parkway.

Wow, two years ago I posted exactly the same story I posted yesterday about bats and bathouses, must be true!
