Rainy day catch up: The last few weeks have been warm and filled with friends visiting and lots of riding. I rode 7 of the last 8 days. The rain was almost perfect timing as my legs were getting tired. This rest day is needed. Tomorrow we will resume with another 4-5 days of riding with visiting friends. It should be really fun.

The progress on the trail work happening out here by the professional crews has been productive. Every few weeks another new section is completed and it is really good work with rock wall building and meandering new sections. Most the new sections visit new spaces and offer varied views of this beautiful area behind my house. All this in addition to eliminated eroded hike a bikes. I am feeling positive about the future of these trails being adopted by the forest service. So far it is a dream come true start.

More pics from the last 2 days. Yesterday we did an 18 mile loop at Starr trails in TMP. We rode most my favorite trails. I am now at riding 10 of 12 days. Even though my legs are not feeling terrible, I decided to take today off the bike to rest. I should have been more tired yesterday, but the rocks kept me focussed and energized. It is so nice to ride with friends that like riding rocks. The last few days have been so much fun! The girls are currently out riding Honeybee with Art.

There are a bunch of flowers starting to bloom and with more rain last night, it is only going to get better over the next few weeks. If you were thinking of coming to Tucson, the next month is prime time. I will try to get more pictures soon.
