Here's some totally unofficial insight but since I'm helping lay out the courses it's straight from the source. For the enduro lite you can ride any type of bike and feel comfortable (as comfortable as you'd feel doing an enduro) For the two day you'll ride all the courses from day one plus two more on Sunday that are definitely rougher and worthy of the Pro/Open designation. I've ridden them all on my Trance X but let's face it, I'm Jeff Lenosky. Haha totally kidding!!!! I've done it, but I plan on racing with a little more travel.
Transfer one:
Short pedal, one mile or so with a little climbing.
Stage one:
Mass start downhill sorted by categories. All types of trails from fireroad, singletrack, grassy slopes, tiny bit of rough pavement. 95% Downhill roughly 2 miles.
Transfer 2:
A Long climb, about 2 miles but the good news is this will pretty much be the main climb of the whole enduro so it will be out of the way. We're going to offer a time bonus for this climb. Based on your category you can gain a few seconds based on your finish time. Top 25% might get 15 sec, 50% get's 10 sec and 75% will get 5 sec. The thought is, if you want to ride with your buddies you can ride as a pack and all get the same time, if you want to hammer you can gain a few seconds but nothing insurmountable.
Stage 2:
This is a singletrack stage on the XC loop which would feel similar to an endurorama stage. Approx mile long.
Transfer 3:
On the cross country loop, there will be another bonus on a technical section of trail that you can pick up another time bonus depending on how far you make it through a particular tough section. Again, it wont be a insurmountable time bonus, just a little something to reward tech riders.
Stage 3:
This is a roughly 2 mile downhill in the bike park with very little climbing but some flatter sections where fit riders can make up time.
Day 2 Courses will both be in the bike course using a combination of mostly Blue trails and a couple sections of Black. Stage 4 will be about 1.5 miles and Stage 5 will be almost 2. They will both be about 90-95% downhill and pretty rough terrain.
