Hello
I just stumbled across the site. Getting back on a mountain bike after 4 year hiatus.
I was mtb'ing less and less. Got really into road riding and triathlon. I just finished my first Ironman, my shoulder is jacked from swimming. And my feet were a mess. I was starting to get the urge to start riding off road again. My last mtb was a full sus Intense.
Since I'm more of a xc rider now, started thinking about what kind of bike would best suit me. I will be probably riding 2x a week at night. With a longer ride on Sunday mornings. I primarly rode/will be riding at 4 places. Night ride at Glo county college and Cam county college. Sundays will be either Ceres or the Wiss. With that in mind, went with a SS 29er. I couldn't go completly rigid, so I added a Reba SL. Bike is a Redline Monocog Flight. SS should be ok at glo/cam. Not sure how a SS at the wiss will be.
I used to do long rides all over nj/pa/del. My fav place to ride was Round Valley. At 26 I was a bit of a nut. Now at 36, my mindset is a little different. Just want to have fun in the woods.
Look forward to getting to know you all
