Speaking of skiing, some sickness out of JOSS from last week,

...Anyways, I'm looking to do a couple of beginner rides on Thurs at LM. If all goes well, I'll move up to the Wed night crowd. So far been ridin some local town trails.

I work in Parsippany and usually ride LM or The Tourne after work a couple times a week. I'll be around today by 5 PM.

Skiing 4 life 😛

Although I've been dying to try the one plank affair on the local slopes, like Kush said if you're not in the park and on two planks south of the NY border it's super boring. Maybe he didn't mention the park, but I know he meant to 😉

My latest daily beater on everything, but huge powder downpours and super icey days.

I like both boarding and skiing almost equally. In fact, I've been known to do half day on skis, half on board. Exception is anything local. Skiing is just boring locally. At least on a board there's more to do in limited terrain (some may disagree).

Local skiing is better then no skiing. I make the best of it. I love to ski so I take the good with the bad. Heck, I even actually enjoy skiing in the rain.

I'm right there with ya. Been skiing for 30 years, MTB in "our" off season. I'm finally back on my bike after, well lets just say more than a few years off. Welcome to the site, good to have another two planker on here. Although I'll say I'd take Zoller's pick in skis any day over the Nordicas... To each there own though!

XWing's were on my short list before I got the Jet Fuel's along with K2 Apache Recon (I also have the Crossfire and love that for ice days) and the AC50.
