Hello all,
I moved to CNJ a few years ago from NYC and love the area.
I met some of the forum members and was invited to some off the map trails. im hooked.
Havnt been riding as much as i used to ,life gets in the way but im making a a comeback since the spring. Hartshorne is great, its pretty close and ive been riding there a bit. Im scheduled for the TM class in sept so i can give back a bit.

I like to ride it all BMX, trail, DH. Would love a roadie but the wife informs me i already have too many bikes!

Welcome! Hartshorne is a fun place and can use all of the help it can get. 🙂

I could be wrong but AFAIK, a training class is only needed to work at Monmouth County Parks.

To work at most other parks, you just need to meet up with the local JORBA folks on a TM day and they will be more than happy to show you the ropes. 😉
We're ALWAYS happy to see new faces eager to help. I personally find the TM days very rewarding and as much fun as riding. 🙂

There are many online references for trail building techniques that can be helpful too. It never hurts to read up to get familiar with some of the techniques, then you can learn from others how to apply it.

I helped with TM last tuesday at JH and plan to continue, it is very rewarding

one can not have too many bikes. 🙄

As a wifey, I can say this: how many shoes/necklaces/earrings/lipsticks/handbags/jackets/etc does she have? :getsome:
