Fun day! I got there early and rode a Jet9 RDO. That rear suspension is so smooth, it's crazy. I'm just not much of a full suspension kinda person. Returned it and unfortunately, retired it for the day. I guess it was a new bike and the front derailleur cable had stretched? I think thats what I overheard. (odd, since I didn't even use it). Regardless, they were doing some major work on it and before I knew it, they were loading it back on the truck! From there I hopped on a Carbon Air9. Much more my style. Very solid bike!!
After the test riding I did some more loops, riding w/ Mark Waters, who I had just met early in the day. Very cool guy and a fellow SS'er :getsome:
Overall great day...hopefully I didn't wear myself out for tomorrow 😱
 
We got lucky with the weather as well, it was raining when I was driving out there, but the rain never seemed to make it to LM.
As for the bikes, I am the opposite of Chris, I like fast XC full suspension bikes, and man was I impressed with the Jet 9 RDO, the thing tracked like a missile, and was fast all around up or down hill.
