My favorite escape was to hit the trails . Two or Three times a week i would ride to keep in shape . Weather it was All mountain or Trails around a reservoir to keep up endurance .
Sadly I had developed a Medical condition witch put a quick stop to the biking and recovery mode was in effect .
I'm getting back to ridding but its not going to be as aggressive as it used to be .
Now i'm doing light trail riding and beach Bike Cruises .
I'm not sure how active this Forum is how ever i will post current ride conditons and events .
P.S
If your not muddy when your done you didnt do it right !

Yeah, the whole muddy thing probably won't make you too many friends around here. But welcome and congrats on the recovery.

Check the local thread for rides in your area, and come on out to some Allaire trail work days to lend a hand and help repair some of the trail damage from when people got "muddy".

Glad you are back out. I too had a medical reason to stay off the bike and it grew into a LONG time off. Getting back on was one of the 3 best things I ever did in my life. I too am slower and less aggressive now, so anytime you want a tour of Allaire, let me know. We have a beginner ride there every Tuesday evening at 6pm, hosted by JORBA, and you will meet a lot of great people there.

The beginner rides attract riders of all different levels, it's actually a beginner friendly ride for a bunch of nice knuckleheads. It's a great way to learn the park, meet some folk, and you may even find a riding partner or two!

Yea, what Frank said! .... and welcome back! We are in Toms River and ride some of the local parks. Allaire is a good place to make a comeback!
