OFFICIAL: 2023 Fantasy Football Thread - The Eagles lost to the Giants and Rick is nowhere to be found

i didnt think about it at the time, but when SF won the toss in OT, it totally still makes sense to kick the ball instead of receive as you get that extra down. what a fluff up by kyle
They were just on the field for the final drive in regulation. You have to give them time to rest. That wasn't one of his mistakes... Now abandoning the run in the 3rd quarter was classic Kyle.
Ya, I can't really kill Kyle for that...I mean whoever gets the ball, the object is to score a TD....spags got SF with that blitz on 3rd down and Purdy wasnt able to connect on that TD throw....what are you going to do there? Go for it on 4th down and potentially lose the SB? I still think its better to get the ball, score, then put all the pressure on the other team to then have to score.....Now unfortunately for Kyle, he's playing against Mahomes who finally heated up...so either way, he was probably fucked.

I don't know...I can't think of anything that was overly egregious.....Fuck nuts kicker blowing that XP, that was BAD. The muffed punt by SF was costly...but KC had a fumble that led to a TD so they sort of offset as the game went along. I kept thinking in the first half..."SF is dominating this game so far....but they have 3 fucking points to show for it, so its means jack shit" As far as abandoning the run, I mean they did get that late TD with a WHOLE lot of running...then the following FG drive where sadly for them, they couldnt convert that 3rd down....that was a killer.

I thought it was an overall good game...you have some good defense being played, good offense, interesting things on special teams...longest FG ever in a SB, muffed punt return....Both QBs played really well...I mean that said...Purdy is good, but he's no Mahomes. And that OT was pretty awesome....especially with Mahomes throwing that final TD with 3 seconds left on the OT clock....which I know OT doesnt end, but im guessing (I have never seen it) it would be like the end of a QTR with 17 commercials and flipping the field....not what you want if you are KC and you have SF on the ropes.

Do you really think Mahomes isn't getting the end of regulation TD if he needed it? C'mon now. That missed XP is a non issue for me too....he hit a 55 yarder. Call it even.

Purdy is good, but he's no Mahomes.

No one is Mahomes. He'll be the GOAT by he end of his career, no doubt in my mind. Purdy is good as hell though...as long as it isn't raining lol.

fair...but JFC, you dont miss XPs in a superbowl. I mean ya, KC probably figures out a way, but id MUCH rather have had to have them score a TD

I know he hasnt had Bradys career (at least not yet), but i'd take him over Brady anyday.

very good game but just thinking, even fi you need a FG, the responding team gets 4 downs to move the ball for a first, while the receiving-first team has to decide whats the risk of going for the TD versus trying to kick a 45 yarder, ya know?
