not surprised after that stinker they put up in London.....But not sure what firing salah is going to fix when Rodgers is airmailing INTs.

On another note....Darnold looked like he was playing for the jets again. His clock is getting close to striking midnight

Ya, is this Saleh? or Hacket? or Rodgers?.......Does anyone even know whose making decisions over there?

Saleh never did anything to make me think he was any good, but its hard to judge coaches who have horrendous QB play. And outside of a few occasional moments when he looked like the old Rodgers....for the most part he has been unwatchable.
 
You guys have to be trolling right? He’s been a disaster since he got here.

There are plenty of teams that have trash QB play and they still hover around 500. Giants won games with Danny freaking Devito.

I mean a couple of games, ya...And don't get me wrong...Daboll deserves a goddam medal for beating the packers with that turkey of a QB....but he came CRASHING back down to earth quickly... But your point is valid...Saleh is not making the team any better

Well its a different situation with Rodgers...he's one of the few QBs who acts like he is the pseudo coach....so what coach wants to come into that situation? A young guy who now has to try and tell Rodgers what to do? or an older guy with some street cred who can tell Rodgers to put down the ayahuasca and STFU....and would Rodgers veto a guy like that? no idea. Will be interesting to see what they do.

Every squirrel gets a nut once in a while. He was way below 500. And he regressed the longer he was here. Another sign of bad coaching. It’s easy to say Zach sucked and maybe he always will, but he was a consensus overall #2 QB in that draft. And the Organization completely failed in his development. That alone should be a fireable offense.

I know you watched enough to see…Did Saleh actually do any thing during the game? He didn’t call the plays, he was never coaching anyone. God forbid he gets in someone’s ear for a stupid penalty (which his team leads the NFL in, so he’s had plenty of opportunities). All he does is stand there with his thousand yard stare.
The national media is of course making him a victim, but Every beat writer who follows the team has the same take. This is probably not going to jumpstart the team but it definitely isn’t going to make it any worse because he was useless.

Ya, no pity party for Saleh.....he certainly never distinguished himself in any way and he had 3.5 seasons....Just don't know if this fixes anything, but Woody probably got everyone's attention now.
 
What choice do they really have anyway? They may as well try this lever and see if it changes anything... Rodgers is almost certainly gone after this year if it continues this way and Douglas will be gone when him then time to rebuild/repeat.

Jets going to continue to be the Jets forever.

Rodgers confirmed in a Tweet (that has since been deleted) that he had Saleh fired for sexual harassment over The Hug.
