Ok Enough Already

it's gotten to the point where every day I want to post in "What have you done to your bike today" that I looked my bike and sighed.

I could post that every day I wipe my drive chain down and re-oil it

This was one of my happiest years on the bike. It didn't rain enough to ruin my year.

The winter sucked, but after that, I got lots of good riding in. And the year isn't over.

Perhaps I am to blame. I may have said something foolish after returning from Az like: " A little moisture might be nice" . It has been one depressing rainy week after another ever since. The trails are suffering, not to mention that my garage is turning into a mold farm. However, the fungus has been spectacular!

This year has been tough. I avoided Allamuchy during the summer because I know many parts don't drain well. Finally went two weeks ago a few days after a rainstorm. The older trails were still full of water - literally standing or flowing water - though somehow not muddy. Parking lot had the same giant puddle that was there in the spring. Yuck.

I almost lost it last night as I was on the deck flipping some burgers, getting rained on. I had the sudden urge to scream "enough" at the top of my lungs over and over. But I'm ok.
