90" tv?

Why did you choose freestanding vs surface vs in-wall speakers?

curious - mine are freestanding - and i found a company in canada that makes a low profile equipment credenza
of course it cost as much as the stupid tv....

usually the darkening shade is down to prevent that reflection, but we just cleaned the windows.....

you mean ones with a lift? I think @Mathers has done a number of those installs
I have one from Ethan Allen but it can only handle a 60". We really don't watch much TV, otherwise I would have liked to put in a build in like this

@Mathers could tell me otherwise but I'm still sold on the use of electrostatics for ambient speakers. Speaker placement can be tricky but is like putting on headphones when in the right place. I also recommend looking at planars. Dollar for dollar Magnepans are still the best speakers out there. But you can't go cheap driving them. Audio Connection in Verona, I believe is still a authorized dealer

Nice setup what are the details?
This is 120 inch screen Sony 4K projector 7.1 with Atmos. I chose freestanding speakers because You get better performance. In walls usually seem a little thin on the low-end.

I don’t have too much experience with the Magnapan but the are power hungry I know that.
The electrostatic sound dispersion is usually pretty small but there are some cool “invisible” inwall options using transducers that have super wide dispersion.
