But under 20... water bottle will freeze and the dirt will be frozen solid and hard as shit. HM is going to feel like riding over pothole after pothole. Any wind will make your eyes tear and freeze. If you sweat... you're done.

56° as a high temp and that was at 4:35 this morning. A predicted low of 8°.

It's 15F here in Wyckoff and the TPMS lights are coming on.

Wear a small camelback under your jacket if needed. You really won't be drinking much anyway. I always carry toe/hand warmers just in case. The canal path is pretty good on cold days and you can duck into 6mr for a few more miles.

If I get out, I'll stay local then. I've been out on the fatty when it's been that cold. Just gotta get your layering right. But the wind is going to be a bit much. Did this and it worked. Also, I have a couple of thermos I load with hot coffee for winter fat rides and they work wonders. Frozen drinks is not a concern over here.
