I would like to think so
But with the RDO being full time 29er... I wanted the Hightower to have the option to go 29er. Yes, I can switch the wheelsets back and forth between the 2 bikes but just too lazy and at pennies to a dollar.... how could you pass that up? 😀

Agreed. I’d like to give that another run after some steady weeks of riding.

Maybe ride the opposite direction and go all the way around the reservoir. Good to have choices.

You should save up for a carbon set for the RDO, seems like an obvious upgrade.
Carbon wheels make you faster, it's an undisputed fact....

I am going to the Grand Canyon next week. I know you cannot ride in the part, but I see bike rentals outside of the park. Has anyone every done this? How much riding is around here? I'll likely only have 1 day to rent and ride so I want to make it count. I am going from GC to Lake Powell to Bryce, so I am open to other places to rent and ride too.

@Kangdoy is looking to upgrade his wheelset so I am going to jump on it when he does so I can have his wheelset for pennies to a dollar
