OOS MOGA

There's a crap load of rain falling in Somerset County at the moment, Nassau probably out as it likes a day to recover.
Anyone know what to expect for the Stephens or Deer Park? I don't want to ride Cushetunk, unless I have to.

@arangov3 I am sneaking a ride in during daycare hours I gotta be back at daycare by 6. That's why I am hoping to get out as soon as my boss leaves the state around 2

what's the closest park to you two where you're working? Stephens or the Dickerson Mine are about as far north as I can probably go

Still need to take the bike for shaken down ride, and Prednisone tends to tire you out
But that isn't a bad plan B if I can get of out work on time
Was prescribed Prednisone because of my sinus but it scared me off. Was told side effects were muscle pains. I was told to take 2 per day for 10 days. I think I took 2 all together lol

If I can get out early enough I will travel a little, Stephens or Dickerson is fine, I often go to Ringwood on Friday's for a quick ride just to learn the park a little better start at the same spot and try different ways each time, but Stephens is probably a pretty similar distance for me so that works and it is another fun technical park.

They prescribed me 93 tablet and the schedule is tapered to eventually one a day. Started with 12 a day and now down to 6. 2 week course, so will be done by next week. Not too many side effects so far, besides the expected; energy level, appetite and occasional upset stomach. I like to avoid OTC and pain meds but when it comes to other Rx stuff, I'm a pretty good patient.

Holy... 12 a day? I guess you can skip lunch at that number

I believe Stephen's drains fairly well from what I can recall.

Water can accumulate in some areas of Stephens in the top of park such as the Green trail and some areas nearby, as well as the flat sections under the power lines.
Also some of the windy, flat trail around Tilcon Lake, inside the Iron gate have ruts that can puddle badly.

sounds like you're suggesting a skip for tomorrow or to avoid those parts?
