OOS MOGA

Wipe the chain down, put the chain wax on the same wall you would oil the chain then give it 2 hours to dry. I have the same bottle for the past several years. May finally need a new one soon
can you post up what you use? I'd like to wax the chains which I keep at work as it gets corroded easy in the basement

At the moment it’s looking like windy and damp and in the low 40’s in Vernon for Sunday. That’s before windchill and heading to the top of the hill..... keeping an eye on the weather creek.
I'm thinking the same, hoping the following Friday and the weekend will let me get there twice before they close

We have so many rides to plan for this Fall/Winter
- Rim brake ride (Klein Rascal)
- 26r ride (RD Coyote)
- Single speed ride (Carver Gnarvester)
- Bmx/DJ ride (Ellsworth Specialist)
- Hardtail ride (work in progress)
- Fat/plus ride (On One Fatty)
- Below zero ride (any bike)
- First snow ride (think I need another fat bike)
- Sub 26r ride (Airnimal Joey 24)

Flaunting...

Rei Outlet has these on sale and rated for -58F with a removable liner for $65
Just bought a pair, but the reviews say they run large so size down. Worst case can return at the store to avoid return shipping.
Also picked up a pair of Baffin for less chilly days and new pair of Columbia hikers to replace a pair of Montrail, now designed for yardwork.
Hopefully feet will be toasty this winter, last year this was my biggest issue and had to bale of a few rides due to fear of frostbite.

Silver Banshee, we had our OOS orange jerseys on and were leading the beginner ride
Come by next time for an intro
OK. I was on one of the Intermediate rides until about 4 miles in when I got a text from my wife and then I had to bail. Too bad because I was having fun on trails that are new to me.

Hit me up if you want to ride there again, I'm only 10 mins from CR.
Not the greatest park for snow but cold is okay, just watch for the ice flows under the snow and the rocks, I've gotten a number of bruises despite wearing two layers

Looks like 6MR on Sun and MCBP on Sun... of course all weather pending.
I guess no one is doing RV?
@jklett and @Kangdoy will confirm on time and meet up spot for 6MR
@Juggernaut will confirm on time and meet up spot for MCBP
Hopefully, we will have this locked up by Wednesday in time for Joy's Whats happening thread.
None of those places interest me

I’m waiting for something like 50 miles park to park type rides.

December 1st, were doing the 3 Mooches ride. You ride from you house, we ride together 30 give or take, you ride home, I drive home. Everybody safe and happy...

Fat bike funds gone 🙁
Good quick video here - the guy riding 2nd hits the turn(s) full speed no breaking and just slightly leans - I’d like to be that level by spring - I always break hit rounded turns in a slowed down manner

it's all about high speed bike handling. He's braking before the turn and getting in the right body position and weight shift to carry around the turns. I try to practice this when I ride alone as I'm not good enough to have to worry about someone in front or back of me. However when I'm at Creek, it all goes out the window, carrying way to much speed to even think about it and just holding on for dear life. Also might help to take a lesson. I'm still trying to find some time to make this happen. Too many planned events here. But it's a goal before end of year.
