A little bling for the Element.

And a lotta bling for the Ripmo

I have a buddy who is selling those cranks for Shimano emotors. I was thinking of buying them for the Rise because I prefer 160mm length. What made you go with those cranks? I am still on the fence.

Pro tip - I use a very thin Do-rag or bandana for sweat control and for tightening up the fitment of a helmet. Makes everything feel more secure to my head. Maybe worth trying...

Disclaimer:

I'm not an actual "Pro" , but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night 😉
Not a fan of wearing anything between my head and helmet, maybe if it was a little thinner up there.

Liked for Holiday Inn Express reference too.

Same boat. I run a Halo headband because I sweat like an unfaithful woman in church. MIPS helmet does grip slightly tighter than my non-MIPS but is way more comfortable.

Question, is the benefit of MIPS voided in any measure by wearing a bandana or a beanie or a scarf under the helmet?

I have one of these and I really like it but I feel like I have to readjust the straps every time I put in on. Curious if you wind up having the same issue.
Yea, I do have to tighten up the slack in the chin strap, but I just keep telling myself it's from me sweating off the pounds and putting it back on in between rides.

So I am reading that as a clyde I may benefit from the stiffer chassis of the Lyrik over the Pike. Lyrik would be 150mm, and the Pike tops out at 140mm. I don't feel underforked on the 120mm Sid with 35mm stanchions on the EE, so I question this argument. Can anyone offer anything? Will the SJ Evo be underforked on a Pike?

Kinda depends on how you ride . If you already have the pike in route then just run it . Probably one of the best trail forks available

Good to know. Got the notification it shipped over night yesterday. So I'll know pretty soon.
The Lazer helmet arrived. Did a ride yesterday with it. Night and day comparing to the POC Tectal Spin. Stayed in place, no shaking. Could wear my Oakleys, the adjustment dial and adjustability is so much better. The magnetic clip vs a usual strap clip will take some getting used to. Came with a bag, Go pro mount, and extra velcro for the pad. Also purchased a replacement pad.

Would recommend.
