I really dont need another hatdtail, but I have a 27.5 full sus bike that never fit me all that well as a parts donor and the price was right so….

welc

Welcome to the club! Curious how you're gonna build yours up. Wish i waited a couple months for the ridiculous deal going on now
Thanks…total Budget build. Only bought a couple necessities, otherwise just recycled parts from bike I tored down.

-spank Oozy 39.5 rims on purple I9s
-2.6” Forekaster rear and 2.8 Nobbie Nic fr
-Fox 32 130mm fork
-raceface stem, (40mm?) 35mm rise spank bars
-Non-boost Zee crankset with 30t ring
-10 speed SLX 42t rear sunrace cassette
-Giant dropper…wish it had more drop
-Deore brakes

Gave it a test ride today and it felt really good. Beefier fork might be nice, but otherwise it felt great. Didnt weigh it but feels lighter than I expected built up.

My daughter says it wheelies easier than my other bikes so I guess she approves as well.

Thats it i tried again and im officially out of the MF 12 speed game. This time i gave both shimano and sram a fair shake. Too be honest shimano wasnt as bad as the sram garabge.
And too be fair ebikes pretty much help the shitty be even shittier. My guess is one day youll see no 12 speeds groupsets on ebikes.

Is that a 27.5 frame?

Curious as to what issues you had. In 3+ years of e-biking on several bikes, my AXS never missed a shift. Di2 on the gravel bike is flawless too.

1. I no nothing about axs to compare this is on mechanical
2. Its more me then you. Im extremely abusive on abusive trails.
I destroyed 2 deore cogsets and 1 new sram gx in 10 months. 4 chainbreaks. Shifting on shimano was good until it wasnt. I love shimanos triggers. It seems once it goes bad everything goes bad especially at the wide range. Both S's would be in the 40s and the shift up to 50 my chain would fall down to the teens with a big crunch when under power which is usually a climb. I can only deal so long with bad shifting.

10 speed makes more sense to me with an ebike any way, with a stronger chain. I never got along with 12sp and eventually changed all my bikes to 10spd.

Lost one of the bits to the Wolf Tooth pliers I have. Seemed a waste to pay for shipping on a $9 item, so I'm giving their new Echo grips a try. I love the grip on my Deity Knuckledusters (preferred) and Supracush, but they're a bit on the thin side I'm thinking at this point.

@mattybfat Did you consider the Shimano Linkglide 10/11 speed? It seems it's basically aimed at E-Bikes.

Probably nowhere near as cheap as Microshift, but may be reasonably priced compared to 12 speed.

I did but you know i liked microshift but linkglide
will be a part of down the road.

As predicated, absolutely flawless. This super beefy steel cassette and the one click shifting worked superbly. After the group ride Kevin (fat trout) and i climbed up orange and mosey over to rouge. So i put it threw some torture. Should of done this right from the start.

Ironically I have the AdventX on my budget build. This is a very under rated group set.
