Was gonna say yeah livestock guard dogs not herding in my experience.great Pyrenees are livestock guard dogs (historically) from the mountains in France, generally very lazy low energy dogs, they have short (and i mean SHORT) bursts of energy (think chasing predators away from the livestock) and then go back to watching/lounging.
(we have 1.5 at this point in time so did some homework on the breed)
