Someone want to explain what's special about this place? One opened near us several months ago and we laugh as we drive by on any weekend night and there are hundreds of cars lining up around the entire shopping center. We were just at HD so my wife said we should try it. I don't get it. Plain, average chicken fingers and horrible fries. What am I missing?

Nothing. Same as every other mediocre fast food that comes, hype goes insane and a year later you can roll up with zero line at dinner time. Sonic, Shake Shack, Chick-Fil-A, etc.

If we ever got a In-N-Out it would probably cause an entire highway to close for weeks.

When I was younger and we'd go out west we'd hit up In-N-out directly from the airport and multiple times during the trip.

Now that I'm older and wiser it's not even something I'd consider as it's pretty mediocre.

You straight-up nailed it. The only piece I think you missed is that it's big w/ the kids. Both my kids and all their friends always want it.

I tried it once w/ them. MEH?

Burgers are good and generally it's an insane value but is it worth the hour wait? Nope. Fries are absolutely awful, no idea what they're doing there.

DIFFERENT SAUCE OPTIONS
 
Not that Chick Fil A is great, but there is one about 200 yards down the road that now has no lines since RC opened. It's owned by my neighbor. Hasn't seemed to effect their ability to add to their house, and yard, and cars.
