anyone doing this race this Sunday Sept 7?
if so anyone one knows any camp sites in the area?

Its a dope place to ride, I know that.

Second that...went up last year and rented a room on the property, kind of has a "Dirty Dancing" feel to the place. Have a great German beer garden on the site which is where race starts/ends as well which was really cool. Trails were sweet as well, some fun single track , some cool climbs( I believe Leaf Hill is the worst on the course...I think I left my legs on it😉) and some pretty cool techy descents towards the end of the lap where they expect some people to eat it between these boulders as they cheer you on there. Def worth the trip up...wish i was able to go back this year and race there again.

north/south lake campground is nearby-there may be something closer, but this is a decent camprground

i camped at douherty's in acra for 18 years, stopped in 2013. i heard there may be 'primitive camping' at the defunct catskils game farm. some folks might prefer the black thorne resort in east durham, they have camping as well as a pub and resort on premises. why am i not going up there this week end :cry:

they ran a nice enduro there this year which had some great trails. get the map for that.
