PSA: When your cranks are creaking there’s a reason for it.
I’m pretty sure I caught this one just in time. Cranks are 4 years old from my gravel bike, this is apparently where all the hollow tech cranks have failed where the aluminium is bonded together.

How has shimano not issued a recall on these things? Do I even bother trying to get it warrantied or just buy a new FSA or Easton crankset?
Because it is likely still a fraction of the % of cranks sold.
As much as I rag on sram, their cranksets are the business for road cranks. For me it would go:
1. Sram
2. Shimano

10. Fsa

23. Easton

I'm not sure how they haven't addressed it. The reps won't even acknowledge it's a thing.
