make sure you hit colonial park on your loop. its short but its nice to not have to worry about cars at all. keep your eyes peeled on canal rd if you venture toward 6MR. the potholes come out of nowhere (ask pat).

i may see you out there. if i don't accidentally start drinking beer, i plan on heading out for an hour or two.

yeah he always throws that in there. I haven't managed to get up any of those cat 4 climbs in the sourlands without hiking a bit

Thanks everyone, my van blew a transmission so trail riding is out for a bit so I'll be hitting the road more often. I think I'll head over to colonial and see where I want to go from there

i throw out that you can replace canal/hillsboro...
with hamilton - cross 206 at the light, pop out on triangle.

if you end up in branchburg, stop in!

Gotta check out the Sourlands for sure. Nice and quiet. Taking Hollow Road up to the ridge is the easiest and not a huge climb.

I used to ride my motorcycle out around Zion, great roads out there. Just those climbs were easier with 1000 cc's doing the work. Also, I think the tow path is unofficially open between amwell and Weston canal road. I got lazy tonight and took it home tonight and I sure wasn't alone. Lots of walkers and tire tracks.

When you get tired of sourlands / south of 202, venture north of 202, theres a ton of nice places to ride....readington, branchburg, whitehouse, bedminster, gladstone, round valley, etc....
