Science is looking up

Were you able to see it?

yes - i watched almost to second stage shutdown. boring without 1st stage recovery.
amazing night launch. i want to see one of these live....

unless you mean off my front porch - that works for the virginia launches.

Too bad there aren't launches like this on the east coast - wow!

you'll be able to see the ones over at canaveral from the west coast. not as dramatic from that distance, but it would make a good trip to be up close.
That Falcon 9 Heavy is going up out of Florida - I think they are targeting January.

I just found the "ISS live HD" app, it looks pretty cool. It shows the flight track along with video feeds from the station. You can also pull up other nasa video feeds (assuming this would include launches etc.)

We get a tv channel in Fl that broadcasts that live view of earth from the ISS. It's more difficult then you'd think trying to figure out what they are orbiting over.

Just saw the SpaceX Zuma launch

i may need to come down for the falcon 9 heavy launch. They probably won't do it at night, cause they'll need all the video they can get if something goes wrong.

That is 3 of the falcon 9s lashed together launching Elon's tesla into outer space!

Wonder if he is going to surprise us and try to recover all three 1st stage units? Assuming it clears the tower.

Yeah I think we'll take a road trip for that one
